Chook Sutton, currently of Katikati, has spent much of his life in this area. He has an intimate knowledge of many of the old tracks and mining areas.
We are indebted to his energy and passion in keeping these tracks open, and for generously sharing this knowledge with us. It has been a privilege to tramp with him, and to work on this project.
