The Sterling Hotel and Hague - Smith’s Fire, one of Waihi’s biggest conflagrations just before the 1920’s era.

1921 Vice Regal visitor Earl Jellicoe leaves Waihi Borough Chambers with Mayor Donaldson for official Chandler car (probably Deverells.)

Waihi Railway Station in 1920 when rail was the most efficient and popular means of transporting both goods and passengers.
