The above advertisement was inserted in the Hauraki Plains Gazette in August and September, 1938 and is the first Father's Day advertisement to appear. Since then Father's Day has become well commercialised.

This is a copy of the letterhead of the Paeroa Mineral Water Co. Ltd. It may have been designed by Mrs Fewell who was also an artist.
